The aboe thread is Breathless Performance trying to say that they made their new wing and airdam for the C6. It's not true. the pieces were made by APR Performance. The picture of the Yellow Z06 is from the APR's website and Breathless even photoshoped the APR decal of the front/middle of the airdam

Is it just me or do none of these links work. Even though he posted them twice?

Ahh, I miss south Florida.

You need to make a trip to Orlando and bring up that 600rwhp TT and bring the wife. I will let my wife take out my Vette and I will ride in yours and we will go out to dinner and catch up..

It's normal business practice for shops to market other producer's products and if it's in their agreement, use the manufacturer's artwork. That's why there's jobber pricing and why you have to PM shops for prices below the manufacturer's stated minimum retail prices.

Aprperformance is not a supporting vendor for this Forum - BPP is. What's wrong with them adverising a product that they resell here?

Ernie (BPP) is a local shop with a good reputation, he personally comes out to meet the racers at our various events, and I've been pleased with the products I bought from him. I see nothing wrong with him marketing a product here, that's why he pays his Forum Vendor fees and we get to use this Forum for free. So I'm throwing in my vote of support for him.

Off topic - Havan - did some research, that's car you have there! Can you make it out to the private test day at Moroso on 10/12? Would love to see that thing on the track. Several Horsepower Sales customers will be there.

Sorry you feel you need to make a big deal of this issue. APR does manufacture the lower air dam as a raw product for us with our specs. We put together our own hardware kit to finish the package. We take responability of the products that leave our facility. Let me ask a question: Corvette is a GM car but some of the parts are manufactured by other companies does that make Corvette any less of a GM car?

On this product we found it easier cost wise to get the part manufactured by another company. When we sell it through our company with our hardware to make it fit correctly we call it our product.

Sorry you feel that you have to attack us, I hope you have a better day today.

Give me the time and I'll be there. What's the event?

Sebring Raceway absolutely sucks for posting events going on there. All they care about is the 12 Hrs. in March. It's the other 11 months of track rentals that make them money.

Thanks.

This Sunday we are running. I will be running in the ST1 race event. We have a new motor in the race car so I guess it will be a break in and race...lol I also have 2 other customers with C6's running Sunday also in the HPDE2 class.

Stop by to say hello.

Shoot - can't next weekend. But keep us posted when you're heading out. For those that don't know Ernie personally, he's got some GREAT setups and races with what he sells.

I run with Safemotorsports.com. Phil Steinberg is president and nice guy. Would love to see you get involved with them too. Seems our club is kind of waning these days. We used to have Homestead events but none in 07.
