Smoother MN6 Shifting
In a few past sportscars, I replaced the transmission fluid with synthetic and experienced smoother shifting. Any experience on the C6 MN6?

Royal Purple is very popular. It improved the speed of syncro action and smoothness in my MZ6.

Over the years I have done this on many new cars - Vettes and others - and it ALWAYS made a significant improvement. I used Redline products as a rule on the Vettes but even regular fluid helped on other cars. This is a cheap, easy procedure and well worth the effort - IMHO.

Royal purple made a noticeable difference in mine. It is a messy job but worth it. Buy 4 qts and you will have a little left over. Good $40 investment

I swapped the trans fluid in my '06 last year when it was just 3 months old for some Mobil 1 (synthetic) ATF and again this summer (last month) with Amsoil (synthetic) ATF.
It does help smooth out shifting.

Royal Purple changed out in mine, very noticable increase in shift smoothness. Highly recommended.

A Callaway short-throw shifter is also worth it IMHO.

I changed to synthetic when my DTE was installed. I did not notice any difference in shifting.

Why doesn't any use GM synchromesh? I've used it in the past on a few of my cars with good results. Also, BG Synchroshift is very good as well.
