Default 2x cam without headers?

I HAVE A APPOINMENT TODAYat Cartek and im and im curious. the mods i have done is a VR, CORSA SPORTS, 160 STAT, AND CARTEK TUNE. I DYNOED 367RWHP WITLIKE 370 TQ. IF I WAS JUST TO ADD A CAM IN THERE WITHOUT HEADERS WHAT KIND OF NUMBERS SHOULD I SEE? O YEA WITH A UNDERDRIVEPULLY ALSO

I would guess over 400 rwhp, with tuning. Headers are too expensive if you ask me.

But I mean if you're going to end up doing them down the road, then you might as well do them at the same time as the cam.

If you ask me, headers are worth the money.

OP has VR, 160 thermo, Corsa Sports and a Cartek Tune. Results: 367 RWHP and 370 TQ. By way of comparison, I have Callaway CAI, 160 thermo, Kooks Headers and Hi flow Cats with X Pipe and a Cartek Tune. Results: 384.5 RWHP and 373.7 TQ. For purposes of this discussion, assume all parts were bought NIB. OP spent appx $400.00 less than I did and got 17 HPR less. Granted, he has Catback, I do not. Maybe he got some ponies in there, maybe not. Headers are worth the money, especially when you start making lots more HPR. Just remember, your engine is nothing but an air pump: if it can breathe through a big mouth on the inhale, don't expect it to fart through a pin hole on the exhale and still make lots of power.

Remember, ask Dave and Julio at Cartek - they will tell you that the stock exhaust cans can handle upwards of 500 rwhp before the exhaust becomes a hpr limiting factor. They will not say the same for the exhaust components that come before the mufflers.
