Default Car came alive today

It was 62 degrees this morning first time since last May. My 06 a6 really felt more alive and snappy, seems like it had a extra 50hp.

Been a long hot summer here in Florida!

My '06 seems to like the cooler morning too. Whether it's just me or not, I'm enjoying the ride.

It's not in your head. These cars love cool air. It was very noticeable in my C5. The difference should be even more in the C6 with their over zealous knock retard.

Seems like my Vararam likes to suck in more of the cooler air also.

There is a Catch 22: more power with cooler air, but the tires don't hook as well.

Also have noted a huge differance. Was especially noticeable these past few days. Last week, mid 80's and humid, a couple days later highs around 60 and now the car is an animal. 2nd gear rolling punch will spin the tires. Last week it wouldn't spin them in 1st unless I launched hard.

Amazing differance.

Make a trip to the drag-strip and you will really see the differance.

the cold air is like amil nitrate for the c6,
