i had the same treatment when i was there.and it is true DOUG is a genius on HP tuners,my car runs flawless,like it was when it was stock.

A good friend and former CF bandit had some kind words to say about his recent experience at LAPD...so I thought I post this for him. 
Thank you Doug, Al, Dan, & Techs!!!
I just had them install Brand new 1 7/8 Kook's headers/ 3" Kook's X-pipe w/Hi-flo catts, + re-Dyno tune on my C6 w/A4 tranny Doug did the most phenomenal tune EVER! & the SOUND it's like a race bike or Ferrari under full throttle!! (coupled w/3" Bullets) almost sounds like the Evil whine from a Maggie blower, I can't get over the new POWER/SOUND!!!!!
Doug cured the stock lag in 3rd gear change & firmed up shift points, the car simply hauls the mail!!
My new rwhp 375 & 370 rwto! since I already had a Dyno tune before install & have huge 19x12 Z06 wheels on 345/30 Michelin Pilots w/3.90 gears I didn't hit the 400rwhp zone but deff would have if I had stock lighter wheels and less aggressive gearing.
3.90 gears & huge wheels/tires deff robb rwhp on the Dyno, it's theoretically still there but the Dyno isn't set-up to read it, same problem the C6 A6 tranns equiped cars have w/lower dyno #'s w/Automatic 6 speeds they still trap 116mph in the 1/4 w/315-330 rwhp bone stock.
Anyone considering work on your C5/C6 or any Vette don't hesitate LAPD is the BEST shop in California hands down, they also treat you extremely well driving you to lunch/breakfast + an absolute thrilling canyon run by Al the man knows his ****!! custom suspension set-up on his head/cam C5 Z06 is unreal!!
This was my 2nd round of mods from them I've been to to 4 different shops in CA, LAPD is the BEST!! I've decided on a blower Cam for future Maggie MP112 H, I'm going to have this installed early next month to break the 400rwhp zone!
Anyhow hope this helped some of you mod hungry Vette owners out, as we all want the best for our beloved beasts.
