Default Changing Headlamp bulbs how to?

Trying to upgrade the bulb on the stock HIDs but dont know if i should buy the kit to later find out its next to impossible to swap out the bulb. Anyone done it? How hard any tips? Thanks alot.

I don't think that it is all that hard. You go in through the front fender. Search for the specifics but I think you first remove the front wheel. Then remove an access panel by pulling some push pins. Then there is a rubber boot inside that you snap off giving you access to the rear of the bulbs. The bulbs are removed with a 1/4 turn and unsnap the bulb from the harness. Just reverse the process to re-install. Don't touch the new bulbs with your bare hand because the oil from your fingers will ruin HID bulbs. If you have to touch the glass, use a clean cotton cloth.

You are absolutely correct! The only thing I am not sure of is I heard somewhere about a torx 10 being needed. I had mine done at the dealer but paid $50 under the table to there a15 tech do it. Took him 25 mins. Oh yeah tire removal is not needed it just makes it a little easier. When the tech did mine he just turned the wheel and rested a florescent light on the tire to see into the access panel.
