Default Wheel stud help !!!

I stripped a wheel stud on the back. I now know it is difficult to replace them without removing most of the rear. Does anyone know what size die to get to try and retread them without replacing them.

I would not try to fix it, Just replace the stud, would not trust it to always stay tight if you try and repair the treads

If you stripped the threads, a die won't do you any good. You'll more than likely have to remove the stud with a hydraulic press and replace it.

If only a few of the first treads are stripped I think you'd be o.k. to re-thread it.

You can also get the stud out with a air-hammer.
