Added the GM under hoodlight. 32.00 from Gene Culley.

Where do you hook up the wiring?

When I added it, there was a connection on the front of the engine bay with a dummy plug in it. I mounted the light and removed the dummy plug simply plugged in the light to the connector. Took a few minutes. Totally easy.

Mercury switch in the light unit.

I put one on an '07. The car is pre-wired, the plug is on the radiator shroud passenger side. I cut a small hole in the hood liner, maybe 1"x2". It calls for a rivit gun which I had. The holes are already in the hood and needs two rivits (or you can probably use small screws). Instructions say to take the whole hood liner off. Don't, you only need to take a few of the plastic plugs off the top right corner.
