I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the positive results of the head and cam job that Straightline just finshed for me. I wanted a cam for the "cam" sound and for some torque. They met my objectives and then some! It made 472RWHP/420RWTQ on a Mustang dyno. I understand this to be 500/454 on a Dynojet. Frankly, while interesting, these numbers don't mean as much to me as how it sounds and how it accelerates. It sounds great. I can't tell you how it accelerates, yet. It has so much wheelspin that I need to re-learn how to drive it! Drivability is good, too. It is not like my stumbling cammed car in the old days. Thanks, Mike and Mike!
My mods are in my profile but they installed a Crane 228/232 "Z" cam and TrickFLow 225 heads (and some other related stuff) for me and did the tune. We also put in some Bilstein Sports and a C6Z06 sway bar. The car now handles more like my 2002 Z06, which I missed a lot until now.
Other than picking it up and driving it home, I haven't had much time to drive it because work hours and business travel have been high. However, I am quite pleased, thus far.
After I have logged some seat time, I'll get back to you with a better pitcure of how it drives.
Nice My cam has the same duration, but I'm still on stock 243 heads. One of these days, I'll have enough coins in my piggy back to get some AFR or TFS heads.

Your car probably has too much power, now. The new heads will make it worse. It'll be great!
