rattle in gear shift knob under acceleration

rattle in gear shift **** under acceleration
I have noticed a rattle in the gear shift in 2nd and 3rd under fairly hard acceleration. Is this normal, or should I have the dealer look at it. Shifts great no other problems what so ever. 06 M6 with 8000 mi.

Have the same problem on my 06.
Dealer changed the shifter. Perfectly quiet for 3 weeks and the rattle came back. Had it at back at the dealer today they opened it up an "tighened" things. Too soon to tell. Its annoyed me since it was new.
