Default C6 Ls2 Lg Lt Header Install Help

Got my lg's in today and they really look good and im looking foreward to the install on this tuesday. I was looking for a good writeup with
pics etc. I found one for the c5 that was very good but looks much more involved. The instructions from lg seem kind of vague and recommend drilling 1 - 1 1/2" holes in the tunnel plate for the o2 extensions along with using the LS1 round type exhaust gaskets
since they dont supply them anymore. Anybody done this install I
would like to hear from them, or any links for a good detailed install.
Would appreciate any help & useful comments.

Checkout www.tpis.com they had install insructions for the C6 header install and cutting the hole in the tunnel plate. When I installed my Kooks I just used a new set of GM gaskets, they came with the round ones. I still have the round ones if you want em I'll mail em to you for free. Just pm me with your mailing address.

When I did Dynotechs on my C5 I had to drill one 1-1/2" hole for one of the O2 sensors or it would hit the tunnel plate.

On my C6 with 1-7/8" Kooks I did not have to make any holes as I could turn the O2 sensors in enough that they are plenty far away from hitting the tunnel plate.

As for the O2 wire extensions they came wrapped in a heat shield and I just fastened them to the tunnel plate bolts with "J" clips.

For gaskets I re-used my OEM ones like suggested by many members here with no problems.

Reuse the OEM gaskets and Bolts LG says you can bend the o2's but I dont think GM will warranty them then, they did for me with my 1 7/8 Kooks after the boss looked at them, the kooks are bolt in and dont require any modifications.

I would weld the rattle first as they are slip on and a PIA to remove once installed.
