Valve spring life?
I recently came this close (holding fingers together) to doing a mild cam for my LS2. The thing that changed my mind was spring life. I drive 18k/yr and don't want to change springs every 1-2 years. Are there any other options or tricks out there? Maybe a stupid question, but for example, the Z06 has a more aggressive cam. How do they get long life with it's springs? I can't remember the specs, but even the LS3 probably has a higher lift. Again, stock springs there will certainly last longer than what I'm recommended with the aftermarket.
But no, just not willing to do the change that often or risk dropping a valve.
Fyi... was thinking of the GT11 cam when all this started.
