Are the supermaxx headers similar in performance to other manufacturer's? How do they sound? I have come across a very good deal on a complete set with hi-flow cats...
Just wondering everyone's opinion on their performance..
Go ahead and buy them. I have them on my car and the fit realy good. They have been on for over a year now and no problems with them. Try and find a lift to put them on it sure makes it alot nicer to work on. I also put a BB route 66 exhaust on at the same time and like the way it sounds. I did mine the day after I got my car home from the dealer,so evrything was clean and nice to work on.
I'm very pleased with Dynatechs.. Ithink I paid around 1800 for headers and hiflow cats/xpipe.. i don't remember what they cost to install.. maybe 300 bucks..
They fit great and look really nice, every time the car is on a rack for whatever reason I get compliments.
They add a little volume with stock exhaust and alot of popping on decel, but really sounded great with Stingers.. I have since taken Stingers off and put stockers back on.
I would recommend them and they should sound incredible with your NPP..
FWW Chose Dynatechs for my C5 on recommendations from John Page and techs at 21st Centuy Musclecars, all claiming superior quality and ease of installation over the more popular, "local" brand. They also did the install. Zero problems, great performance for a year now....I probably wind up with with a set on my '08 as well. If you decide on them for yours, I'd like to see your #'s!
My buddy and I installed the Dynatechs ourselves. They went in quite easy!! I went with the 1 &7/8 on my tuners recommendation, and it seems to have been the right choice!!!
It really seems to allow the L92 Heads to live up to some of their potential!
