Real Increase In Power!!!
Kooks LT'S, HI-Flo cats, Corsa cat backs and tune, also removed TM. Car ran GREAT.
Had the following done early this week:
Callaway Honker CAI, pot job on stock throttle body, Vigilante converter, tune.
It's completely different when you nail it and the converter kicks in. Traction is real slippery even with AH and TM in normal mode. Doin' 10 MPH, nailin' it, get's to be fun and of course... well, FUN
. Then it's off and running, pulling that Fall Chicago air into the CAI
Maybe I'm feeling so much more seat of the pants and equating that with power but I have to say this thing rocks. Having it on the track after my next set of mods will tell but it moves.
I am very satisfied and have been trying out different gears, RPM's and roll accellerations trying to get the sweet spot for various speeds, etc. I did learn that 1st gear lasts no where near as long as before and therefore when in paddle mode you have to be quick to change otherwise it get's into the limiter. I am trying to get the best of both "s" and paddle. Car now shows as 371 RWHP and 361 RWTQ. 67*F, 29.46 in.-Hg, 18% humidity, and 0.99 SAE. I have a little more time before storing the car to get used to the newer traction issues. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to drive it to the speed shop in the middle of the winter for the next mods!
