Read all Ranger’s tips. Plan to start w/25 lbs in the slicks, launch @ 3500, sliding out the clutch until she hooks then squeezing it. Practiced a few times this past weekend.
If I break it - so what? But you can be assured that I’ve had a heck of a lota’ fun.
Wish me luck

Of course good luck BUT don't think you'll need that much as that car is gonna be a ROCKET!!! Also be safe and warm into it . As you say you'll have 20 runs or so. After the first 5 or so...., LET 'ER RIP!!
Oh, last thing, can I lose my cherry TOO? LOL!

1. If you wheelhop GET OUT OF IT! That is the best way to break a rear. Abort the run and try another launch technique.
2. Don't be discouraged if you can't get 1.9 60 Fts or better for your first day. It took me a lot of practice to get 1.7's or better. Took me a lot of 2.x's to learn how. Its all about fun and that adrenelin rush you will get at the line for your first few events (sorry to say that wears off after your first couple of hundred runs!)
