Urgent please

Today morning while I was starting my 2005 C6 mn6, attraction system service appears to me another thing appears( Reduced engine ) appears and the RPM won’t go above 2 , Can you please tell me what to do ??????????

What code is firing? If you don't have a code reader, it is well worth the investment (+/- $100).

A code reader is a electronic tool you can but at Wallyworld, Pep Boys, Advance Auto etc. There is a plug under your steering wheel that you plug into and it reads the engine codes that are causing your issues. Then with knowing what is the code you can start to diagnose the problem.

FYI, the code reader must be C.A.N. enabled which is a new(er) standard, if it is not CAN enabled it will not work. Check the packaging for this info or ask a sales person.

Shut everything down, disconnect negative battery cable for 60 seconds, reconnect battery and start over. Sometimes (many times) this will correct the concern.
