c6 tunnel insulators
I just picked up a 2006 c6 zo6,.......what a hoot but it get a little hot from the exaust or something......reminds me of my 55 bel air hot rod, blower motor car. So do the tunnel insulators really work well, who makes a good one and why dosent GM make a recall pice for these, maybe the 08 have them?

Just put one on my 08 C6, along with AR headers. The thermal abs works. on the trip to the tuner, (100Miles), I was checking the console under the armrest. It ranged from warm to the touch to very warm when I was stuck in traffic. I can not detect any warming now at all.

I had the Elite thermal abs installed on my car and it made a very noticeable difference. The blown 408 has cats on the headers (under the console area) and during spirited driving in the mountains, the center tunnel and console would get very hot before the thermal abs installation; those same areas now are just warm to the touch.
