dead battery/priority start?

As you can see from the link, its not a GM item. I have one on mine though I haven't had the dreaded DBS yet. I did trigger my Priority Start once though by having the hood up and doors open for a long time. Guess the lamps pulled the battery down to 12.0 volts. Not hard to do as I have checked it several times and it normally sits at about 12.8 or so after a day of sitting. I just leave a Battery Tender Jr. plugged on it and all is well. That Priority Start thing is great though. If it does run down, just hit the cig lighter and bingo everything works and the car will start. You do have to reset the window auto down feature. Everything else is there. I plan on a new battery next spring anyway (2.5 yrs on factory battery).
