Default Halltech Venom

I have been researching air induction systems and the Halltech Venom intake system seems to produce some additional hp and torque
with easy installation and no cutting. I guess this system is not really a cold air induction system since the air is taken from under the hood.

I think the Vortec Intake by Breathless Performance would be considered a true cold air intake since cutting of the shroud is required.

Is the performance that much better between an intake such as the Halltech and a true cold air intake such a the Vortec, Varrram, or Callaway.

15HP by cutting shroud. Zero otherwise.

Hello Mr. pc07vette,

Please consider this option...it works!

Thanks,
Carlos

I would say try a search and see which cold-air consistently showed gains at the track. Look at both the C6 and C5 section. You'll probably see one name pop up over and over.
