I've added FOB3 per the service guide instructions, but when I go to do the settings through the DIC all I get is a message saying "options not available". Has anyone else run into this? Thanks!

I had the same problem. I believe that you can only "personalize" the options when you are using FOB 1 and 2. You can program up to 4 FOBs to work with the car, but #3 and 4 will just open the doors and start the car.
At least I think that's what I remember finding out when I had the problem.

This correct. The car's conputer stores only information for driver 1 and driver 2 (fob 1 and fob 2). fob 3 and 4 will operate the car but have no settings.
If a keyless access transmitter that is not
labelled 1 or 2 is used, the personalization system will
not recognize the transmitter. The Driver Information
Center (DIC) will not display a current driver number and
the features that are normally programmed through
the DIC will be set to the default states. Also, if the
OPTION button is pressed, the DIC does not display the
menus used to set personalizations, but instead
displays OPTIONS UNAVAILABLE for a few seconds.
If I knew what year C6 you had, I would have posted the page nos. in your owner's manual. Another good reason to fill out your profile.
