I have a 07 1 LT and I guess the only thing I wish it had was a self dimming rear view mirror. Does anyone know of a replacement mirror with the self dimiming (or what ever it is called), I figure there is power in the stock mirror so I would hope someone makes one that would just replace the stock mirror.

You can add the electrochromatic ISRV mirror. I added one to a previous car.
There are vendors that sell the mirror.

I also have a 2007 1LT and upgraded the rear view mirror to the self dimming factory mirror from the 3LT package. This is a direct swap with no wires to splice, just "plug and play". You can buy the mirror from Gene Culley at GMPartsHouse (a forum vendor). He is great to deal with and his prices are hard to beat. The mirror is removed by carefully turning the windshield mount a quarter turn while applying a moderate force into the windshield and the install of the new one is just the reverse. I hope this helps!
have the dimming mirrors on my 08. the rear view is always in "night" mode, even when i start the car in the daytime. if i drive down a shaddy tree-lined road i cant see anything behind me. i have to push the button on the mirror to turn off the green light, to see in the daytime. maybe mine is defective, but the set up is azz backwards. make sure you get a mirror that works right. maybe i am doing something wrong, but it worked fine on my 02.

Is your forward facing ambient light sensor blocked or obstructed? Anything hanging on the mirror?
