And then the next question will be "Why does the car need a line lock?". And, your answer will be ............? You're in a lose/lose situation. The dealer is going to suspect tracking the car or doing big burn outs. Either way, they car kill your warrenty and make it a real pita to fight to get it back.

The line lock is simply a safety device for stopping on hills and extra security when parking the car. That's what mine is for
Fyi - Cartek installed mine. I think it is hurst. It works very well. It is a push to lock, then push to unlock style. the button is in my console out of site and accidental touches. Chances are the dealer would never even know you had it. The solenoid is mounted under my master cylinder...you'd never even notice it unless you were looking for it.
I've had my car in for warranty work (not related to the engine) and they never even questioned my mods...in fact they commented about how awesome the car was. Guess it depends on the dealer??

its all about the service department and the techs. i had one sevice tech tell the gm techs on the phone, he has a converter and they said who cares the problem he is having wouldnt be caused by a converter
Dealership I use is mod friendly, but a GM rep happen to be walking through one day and looked in the engine area and said "hey isnt that a supercharger"
