Just wondering if anyone has added the z06 oil cooler to their cars yet? I don't have z51, plus I like the fact that the z06 is an external air-to-oil cooler. I know GM makes the hardlines that bolt right up to the motor (in fact, I think I heard that both the z51 and z06 use the same hard lines??). Anyway, appreciate any info you all have. I would like to get this done over the winter so I can hit the tracks during the hot summer months here. Thanks
I did it, you need a oil cooler and the Z06 line kit, plus some bolts.
It was mostly a bolt up job.
I have a Z51 and had to take the original lines out.
You will need to remove the Shroud and drill some holes. Make sure you get the alignment close so the lines reach w/o stress on them.
