Default installed B&B bullets, lost power?

I have a bone stock 2005 6sp z51. I installed some B&B bullets today. I am still running stock headers, cats and H-pipe. It feels to me that I might have lost a little mid range power. I feels like it doesnt pull as hard between around 3000 and 5000rpm. Could this happen, or am I just crazy.

I am also going to install a vararam intake. Should I get the car dyno tuned after the intake and bullet install?

Must have installed backwards......

Just kidding, vette needs to run a few miles to get dailed back in on the comupter, same thing with the varraram. Normaly around 100 miles and don't be easy on it and yes get a real tune.

I have a bone stock 06Z51 ( same color too ) and have the B&B Bullets.

Didn't notice any difference in the mid range.

I did notice how much lighter the Bullets were from the stock exhaust though.

Might not be the exhaust for everybody but its the only one that I will have on my vette. I am addicted to that sound.

Bullets are the only way to go! I really didn't notice any difference at all in the pull. The main difference obviously is the great sound! Just wait until you add headers!

i went and ran the car pretty hard for a little while tonight and it slowly got better. It seems like its back to normal maybe a little stronger. But it was defently slower right after the install. felt like it was running out of fuel or something.

I noticed the same thing in my car after I had my Borla Stingers installed at Carlisle this past summer. It got better after the 2nd or 3rd time I drove it. The 90 + degree heat that day didn't help things either though.

It's either your perception or the computer re-gauging. Don't worry, you don't/won't lose power.

I have bullets with headers .... it is LOUD ... but great.

Can't wait to get it to Lingenfelter over winter for S/C ... see how much more noise I can make lol

I've noticed that most of the people who say this have never had B&B Bullets. One person says it and it becomes gospel.

Anyway, I've never felt any power difference either positive or negative with them.

I put Bullets on recently- did not notice a power difference at first, but I would swear that there may be a tiny bit more power now- negligable, however.

I bought them fully expecting to take them off due to loudness and drone- even told the wife that.

From the moment I fired the car up with them, I knew they were never coming off. Sweetest sounding system out there, IMO. It almost makes me want to drive more agressively just to hear that sweet music.
