Cam questions???
224"/230" .588"/.595" 114LSA
It is from an LS1 build I never finished. Its marketed as one of their blower cams and those are my intentions for the car in the future. I am a little confused on if it will work or not as my car is an 08 and it is a 3 bolt cam. I do know LPE makes a conversion kit from 3 bolt to 1 bolt. Would this cam even be worth doing? Would I need to change springs, pushrods? Sorry Im "cam dumb":o




The bigger than usual split, the healthy lift, and the wide LSA. I had a 228/232 114...no advance also with XER lobes and the aggressive ramp rate and high lift works well with the L92's. I actually had the Comp cams XER 224/230 .588/.592 114+2 cam in my car C6-LS2 but it wasnt with the L92 heads. It made power everywhere and loved N2O.
I beleive your cam has cam motion lobes which is similar to XER lobes yeilding the high lift.
I would imagine it would work really well even with stock compression. Expect 470rwhp. Pop it in. Dual springs are needed as is the cam sprocket conversion.
