I had a set of Tri-Y headers back in the 70's on a Mustang I had, i really liked them. I don't remember the name brand though.

I know a number of NASCAR teams use Tri Y headers. They should work great on the LS2 or LS3. There are a number of people that have run them on C5's, you may want to do some searching over on the C5 forum.

With an O2 sensor controlled engine like ours I'd really worry about all those slip joints in front of the O2 sensors. If I had any trouble getting the AFRs right I'd always wonder if the headers were leaking.

That's really not a problem.

Before and after readings using similar style long tube 4 into1 headers and using a wideband O2 didn't show any significant changes to indicate a leak in the pipe joints. Just use a good o2 safe sealant like the 'Ultra' series of silicone sealant and there won't be any problems.

Mandrel bent 14 ga. Carbon steel primary tubes for durability.
...Standard finish is industrial chrome. High temperature ceramic coating is optional.
I'd get them coated.
