Default Figured it would be nice to do an LS3 Intake Poll

All,

There are various posts regarding intakes that folks are using on their new '08's. I figured it would be interesting to consolidate the info and see who is using what as well as their opinions on form/fit/quality, ease of installation, performance, looks, bang for the buck etc.

Z06 K&N CAI + Tune = 402whp(hood closed) - 11.85s - 121.8mph - 1.97 60'

Why no mention of the K&N intake? It is the cheapest and clearly works on the dyno and at the track.

Yes I HAVE A 160T and it gave me 15whp.

I missed it because there isn't one listed specifically for the LS3....at least not that I could find. What is the P/N of the unit you are running?
I don't think I can edit the poll list but if anyone knows let me know.

I would like to use a drop in K&N, or K&N CAI for Z06, but I heard K&N had suspended production due to collapsing ducts. Its parked for the winter so I have a while..

I believe the K&N # is 63-3060. I bought mine used from a Z06 owner.

K&N told me via email today that they do not have an approved '08 product.....at least that is their official answer.

Interesting, but the LS7 K&N still fits perfectly.

I believe some have use the Vette-Air scoop with the stock intake to create a CAI but maintain the stock filter.

The scoop can be found here: http://www.theair-charger.com/
