For any of you that have installed a Rammer have you had any problems with the install or after. From the installation instructions that I read it seems fairly straight foward.
I had no problems whatsoever with install or after the fact.Cutting the shroud as you no doubt have heard is tedious, but not difficult.Just remember to cover the condenser with cardboard or a piece of thin plywood in case your cutter of choice slips. The Vortex Rammer is very well designed and the quality is excellent. The finished install also looks sweet IMHO.I got the carbon fiber look airbox and put 6 coats of clear on it(sanding betweeen coats with #2000 sandpaper) because I wanted the gloss to match my TKO carbon fiber fuel rail covers.I removed all labels and put a stock airbridge C6 flag decal on the power duct to finish it off.

I installed the BPP Vortex Rammer on my LS3 without any problems. High Quality and works great. I chose the clear box, so I could easily see if the filter needed to be replaced without removing the CAI. There is no chance of dirt getting into engine or the engine compartment with this set up. Looks great and performs as advertised.

Did you notice any performance improvements from the install. I have a stock 07 vert m6 just not sure if the installation of the cia is worth cutting anything on the car.

The BPP Vortex Rammer gave me an advantage over my stock LS3 CAI with the Vetteair installed. My ET dropped .2 of a seconds and my MPH increased by 2 in the quarter. Very easy to install and looks great(subjective). You don't have to remove the shroud, just follow instructions...about 1 hour involved for the full installation. I hope this info helps you in your decision.
I don't race my car,but I have noticed an increase in responsiveness. When I installed my Vortex Rammer,I didn't drive my car for several months(not even a test drive after install). The next time I took the car out I had forgotten about the install, and was amazed how well the car was performing. It was only when almost home I remembered the CAI install. This unit in my opinion is worth every dime it costs and the time to install CAI.
