My car is doing it more and more, even while driving. I have stock wires. I heard in another thread that my battery is getting weak, which it might be since my 02 battery was replaced in 05 and my car just turned three. I have run it out in an hour listening to the radio working in it.

Anyone else have a weak battery cause this?
A lumpy cam or an improperly tuned idle (unstable) is likely to blame. Either raise the idle or make it more stable or BOTH.
Additionally, I have seen more than once that when the 06/07 and later alternators are revved to about 7 grand, something in the alternator goes wrong and either shorts the diode or kills the alternator all together. Possibly having over revved the alternator could be causing the problem at idle as well....
Sad thing is, you can't "see" problems with electronics till they die usually.....
My first guess is the tuning of the idle. Changing the alternator is not likely going to help.
The combination of erratic idle and 25% underdrive pulley looks like the problem.
