Diff DIY, any gotchas?
I have the manuals, 20+ years behind a wrench. I am considering swapping my own rear to save $500 or so. Are their any gotchas, or shortcuts from what is in the manual on a diff swap?

I used a transmission jack when I did mine so I would strongly recommend renting one if you have to.
I also discovered that there are certain steps that you don't have to do as long as you're careful.
