Brakes
I have an 06 vert without the z51 package. I want to upgrade the brakes for possibly some light autox. Should I get a z06 setup, an aftermarket or the the stock setup off a z51?

depending on how lightly you autocross (is there really such a thing?),fluid and lines become very important. the best calipers, rotors and pads in the realm will do little if the fluid is boiled and lines are ballooning.

You might also try C5 Z06 pads (they fit the C6 brakes). I've had good luck with that combo with autox.These changes will make a HUGE difference over the stock Z51 brakes without "breaking the bank."
