Default Help!
Ok here is what happen. I was driving my vette today and got down on it. All of the sudden my belts started squeaking really bad. When I checked under the hood it look like some kind of fluid on the belt. The belt that goes to the ac compressor was hanging off and it look like some purple spray on some of the parts below. Any ideas on what might have happen?

Check the crankshaft dampener/pulley and bolt. The bolt may be loose.

You lost the balancer. If it ran for a while you probably chewed the inside of the balancer up and will need a new one. Nice time for underdrive unless its warranty. I had the same thing happen.
