The discs aren't a bad idea if you cut the bushings off your stock bolts, but I cut the bushings on my '05 coupe and have been running them without anything like this kit provides for 3 years with no problems. I just left about 1/8 inch of rubber on the bolt head.
On both the C6 and the C6 Z06 I don't know of anybody that has needed to cut the bushings or put in lowering bolts to get the front as low as you want it.
On the C6 it's very common to either cut the bushings on the stock bolts or get bolts such as the WCC lowering bolts that don't have the rubber bushing and already have a surface something like the kit above provides.
On the Z06 I'll bet there haven't been but a handful of owners that can't get it low enough on the stock bolts in the rear.
I'd say before trying this kit, try lowering the car by just adjusting the stock bolts - I bet you'll get plenty low without needing to cut the bushings (so no need for this kit).
If you do really need to slam it I bet you'll only need to cut the rear bushings, so if you really feel a need for something like those plastic thingys you'll only need 2 of them.

Butt.....I slammed my '05 coupe (cut the bushings in the rear) and never got a new alignment. My tires lasted as long as everybody else was reporting (about 18,000 miles on stock non F1 runflats on my F55 and up to about 16,000 on my second set of tires) and I never had any unusual wear patterns.

Use the stock bolt, just cut down the stock bushing by one layer (there are two "layers" of rubber).
Those discs on ebay looks to be the same material/construction as the aftermarket lowering bolts sold by various vendors for $39. They fall apart in no time (I had a set that I was going to put on my '08, but my tuner had customers with them for less than 6 months that falls apart, so he convinced me to use the modified stock bolt instead.) Besides, if you check the stock bolt, it's still got about a 1/4" turn or so left that'll give you about 1/2" drop.
