Has anyone installed one and found any of the below information to hold true??? I'm interested, but I trust you all more than manufacturer info.
Thanks!
Improves mileage and throttle response. This Mass Air Flow Sensor is chassis dyno proven to add 8-25 horsepower (depending on application), with a 60% airflow increase over stock. Improves performance from 2,000 rpm to red line. "Truly Calibrated" on Granatelli’s in-house MAF dyno and flow bench to optimize performance for your specific application. Compatible with most electronics and aftermarket bolt-on performance equipment. This direct OEM replacement won't void your factory warranty. Installs in 10-15 minutes using basic hand tools.
If I'm not mistaken, just a little while ago, he stated his ignitions wires were worth and I quote", Adds true, dyno proven 12hp gain, can add up to 15hp(normally aspirated) & 35hp ( s/c, turbo, notous )" This was in the GM high tech mag, march 2007 page 65. I now wonder why were modding with heads and cams when all we really need to do is just put some Granatelli 0 ohms wires on......

Wow, I put on a Granatelli MAF and gain 25 hp, for 10-15 minutes of work. If someone takes 10-15 minutes to change out a MAF then they deserve to run a Grantelli MAF
You want throttle response, get yourself a ported throttle body you will feel a night and day difference in throttle response.

The increase in airflow isn't worth anything on a basically stock motor. The MAF may increase HP on a stock motor because the GMAF calibration is different from the stock MAF and leans the motor out. With the LS3s seemingly running rich from the factory it could actually work.
So why don't you want one? The answer is the GMAF is band-aid for a good tune. In the dark ages before tuning software, fudging the MAF was one of the few solutions available for a tuning a car that was rich. Today, you can put your money into a good tune or purchase HPT and do a proper job of tuning the car.
Now you know why you need to run away fast from this.

I'm already starting to feel the HEAT!!!
I had a 99 trans am that I spent many days at the track with and at least 200 1/4 mile passes. I ran some bracket races and was able to run consistant 12.60s -70s at 105-106 mph. One night a friend had a Granny MAF on his T/A and knew I had run several consistant run that night and asked if I wanted to try his MAF. I was not a believer but gave it a shot. I ran three hot passes within 10 minutes of each other and every run was a 12.60s at 108s MPH. I had never run 108s before so I became a semi believe!!!! I bought one the next day. Just my experience guys!!!! Do I have one on my 07 vette?? No
