Headlight control
During my shift linkage failure, couldn't get it in reverse or park, the battery also failed slowly.
While waiting for the dealers tow truck I noticed the left headlight went out but the right one stayed on. Apparently the broken shifter messed up the computer sequence and we couldn't jump start the car either, so I had to just watch the battery drain down, lights wouldn't go off with shift in neutral.
New battery, shifter fixed promptly, great dealer service. However, I am curious how one headlight remained on with one off. There must be seperate relays for each headlight or this could not happen.
If so it's the first vehicle I have seen with a relay for each headlight.
