Yeah I've seen that. My main goal is to better understand them. I am not 100% sure why you want slip at lower rpms but I think I understand them a little better.

The "slip" is actually a torque multiplier, same as a shorter rear gear. Also, then engine makes very little power under 2K RPMs, compared to 3K RPMs and above The higher stall TC keeps the engine in the power band.
