red DRLs
I know that red DRLs are illegal, but does anyone here know of a 2 color bulb possibly with a switch that can change colors..from the regular orange type to the red? thanks.

yeah i could do that but most probably i would get caught...i was thinkin a 2 color would be smarter so i could drive with the orange and switch to red once i enter a parking lot or something...maybe ill just try the red until i get caught. do you think they will just give me a warning or go straight to a ticket?

Police really frown upon red or blue lights in the front. They will pull that car over in a heartbeat.
What's the point of using red lights in a parking lot?
Two things the police have seen that makes this such a bad idea. First problem is fake cops that use red and blue lights up front. Even if they are not on, if a cop sees red or blue bulbs up front, your toast and in for quite a questioning. Second problem is people see two red bulbs, especially the Mr Magoos, and they think its tail lights so they line themselves up with them. Blammo - head on.
