Default EBrake switch adjustment

Anyone know where the E-brake switch is that turns on the dash light that says "Brake"? I put a leather boot in, and the material is thick enough that the handle won't go down quite as far as it did with the vinyl boot installed.

Consequently, the brake light is on and the bells are chiming unless I rest my arm on the E-brake. I don't think the wire is tight enough to actually be engaging the brake, so I'd like to adjust the switch to be a little less sensitive.

Anyone know if it's height adjustable, and where it's located?

Thanks,

Matthew.

Net build. Not adjustable. I guess you could tweak it a little.

Thanks, At least I know where to look. I think a small rubber pad ~2millimeters on top of the brass part will just do the trick.

Or, can you rework, reposition the park brake lever boot so that is does not limit the travel of the lever?

If you go with the rubber pad idea, just make surethat the park brake lamp still illuminates when the park brake lever is at the 1st notch.
