Can anyone tell me if the Black and Decker Simple Start Battery Booster has enough "juice" to start a C6 assuming that it is fully charged. Product literature says it will start most cars. I know their are other Battery Boosters on the market, but I was given this one. Below is a link to product specs.
It puts out 7A at 12V for 15 minutes. That 'might' get your battery up to the needed voltage to let the computer attempt a start. It would depend on how 'low' your battery is. Is this a "jump" type start, NO. It just puts a top charge on a battery. The vette doesn't take a huge amount of current to crank, its just that computers monitor everything. It would probably get your OnStar on line so you could call a service truck.
