You will never get a dinged pair of tips with a BRAND NEW Billy Boat Performance Exhaust Fusion, for only slightly more money.
Complete with the vacuum control kit.
I strongly considered the Fusion exhaust and the quality is excellent. Iwas concerned about drone in my 07 A6 vert even with the closed position of the BB exhaust. The NPP has no drone in the closed position.
That is the beauty of the Fusion. In my opinion and the opinion of the customers that we have installed the system on here in shop, the Fusion does not drone at cruise. With the valve, it eliminates the drone.
My test car for the system was an A6. The customer had a Bullet and loved it, but wanted it a little quieter (not drone) for his trips on the road.
I installed the Fusion and the vacuum control kit and it was everything he was looking for. Still had the agressive Bullet tone, yet he could tone it down for his trips on the road.
I have to politely disagree. If you check some of the posts and threads on this Forum, you'll see that they are NOT the same muffler with different tips.

Who cares about what posts? They are the same muffler minus the tips.
If you are willing to do a little research and have an open mind, you'll see that they are two different mufflers.
case closed, I installed a set of Z06 mufflers (2007 Z06) on an 05 c6 tonight with my vacuum system and 100% it does not have the same sound as my 2005 with NPP mufflers. The Z06 are more like my route 66 were and the npp are more like bullets in the open postion. No headers on either car

Eh? Can you translate that for a C6 N00b?
Z06 open = Route 66 = what kind of sound?
NPP open = bullets = what kind of sound?
NPP is more aggressive? Deeper? Louder? This is important cuz my '08 w/NPP will show up in Feb!
they are the same mufflers, so they sound the same only the tip
cosmetic's are different.
Sorry to say the Z06 are no where close to the NPP sound
here is the review from bub who just installed the Z06 system on a C6
"On the road, I'm really a bit disappointed in the volume of the sound with the butterflies open (guess that is why guys are selling them in the first place huh? )."
