I ordered my FAST 90 manifold along with a fire wall kit. I thaught that is all I would need. I also seen there was a MAP relocation sensor assy
that you need. That would be around another $95.00. Why doesnt comp cams send you everything you need instead of getting all these extra things which some of them may be unnecessary. I hope spin weighs in on this one. I know he had a good thread going .
I did the FAST according to SpinMonster's method and I didnt buy any firewall kit, map relocation kit, or fuel rail kit. For the map you can drill a hole in the front lower part of the manifold and your sensor will pressure-fit right in without any extension wires or anything. There's really no need to buy any expensive kits or parts doin it Spin's way.

thanks guy, Your savinmg me money already . I know the fuel rail kit can be done with spacers or standoffs. As far as the firewall thing it
appears that a 1 x 4" hole in the firewall kind of makes me queeze .
I wonder what he did there ??

I seen your signature. You have some pretty nasty pieces in your machine. I wanted to ask you if there was much to the UD install
or did you get it done elsewhere. Did the FAST make a good difference when you installed it ?
You'd have to find the thread for some pics, but here's a short version. The back of the FAST hits the firewall with that grey bulge in the back. basically you cut that bulge off, and glue a flat piece of plastic in its place. You use some Goop or similar super sticky glue and that takes care of the clearance problems. the vacuum nipple that was in that grey bulge gets relocated to the bottom (black half) but in the same are. For the fuel rail you use the stock bolts, just use some wide washers that will grab the fuel rail enough to hold it down. I'd have to show you some pics of that to understand what I mean. For the map relocation you just use the hole I had mentioned before.

Well the UD pulley isnt too hard, but you will need room to work so the everything in front of it needs to come out. Maybe you could do it without all of that but mine went in with the cam so everything was out anyway. But as far as installing no its not too hard, just got to make sure its on TIGHT.
As far as the FAST, yes it made a really big difference. I only gained a few poines up top but the midband was significant and it's a difference you can FEEL as well.

Leon, it's going to make a heck of a difference, believe me. Check your PM, do not cut the firewall yet!
Yea I decided to cancel the firewall kit. After reading here what Jogar
said here was very helpful and then i re read all the proceedures that
spin has shown to be very informative. I have the FAST 90 on order
and should have it in a couple of days. After that I will well consider
where to get all the modifying , porting & painting done with the eventual install w TUNING & DYNO to consider.
