door droop
My driver's side door is starting to sag when open and does not line up correctly when I close it. I kind of have to lift up on it a bit to keep it from klunking into the catch. I have valet parking at work and I wonder if the parkers are leaning on the doors when they get in the car and if that might be the cauise of the droop.
I would get it looked at before your warranty expires.

Wow, I remember the 70's GM products like camaro/firebird used to do that after a while. They were very long, heavy doors. My 79 TransAM was always needing a little lift in order to close the doors properly. Wouldn't think that would still be a GM thing this day and age.

I'm not sure of what the cause is on a Vette but GM (and other manufacturers) do still have problems with "door droop". It is often wear on the hinge pins / bushings. Some GM trucks are known for doing this - dealers stock the replacement pins / bushings. Not an impossible job to do but depending on the design there is a nasty spring that must be removed and reinstalled (which is much easier with the specialty tool made for doing this).
