Default Comments on Pulstarplugs?

Have seen "too good to be true" ads for Pulstarplugs, advertsing up to 10% increases in H.P./torque. Not cheap at $25 ea for an LS/2... any experience out there?

Do a search. A forum tuner did a very complete test of them.

I guess you still didnt do a search then.

The plugs were proven to do good things and performed best on a heavily modified vehicle.

I guess the manufaturer of the 300C thought that more spark was better, since they doubled the spark per cylinder over the stock engine.

Read the results from the Corvette tuner's tests. Their conclusion, after much testing is that they actually do work.

[QUOTE=CivicHybrid;1566074054]I guess the manufaturer of the 300C thought that more spark was better, since they doubled the spark per cylinder over the stock engine.

The hemisheriscal combustion chambers in a Hemi have alot of extra surface area. The extra plugs were added to help the flame burn process in the cylinders to get the engine to pass current smog standards. Current cylinder head design has more of a wedge shaped chamber to reduce the surface area which helps the burn process,,, more even temps across the chamber.

They are probability easier than indexing spark plugs and they seem to produce about the same amount of additional horsepower. The cost is a bit much when there are easier ways to make HP. I would say that Pulsar's or indexing are best left for when you are trying to find that last little bit of HP needed to win.
