Hello guys!
Thanks to your good advices 3 months ago; now my automatic transmission is finally replaced under warranty. It was difficult over here in Bulgaria, but everything seems to finish in a good manner. Anyway…
Today I was informed from the local Corvette Service, that my car is repaired, but is necessary to take it to the road and reach 160 km/h (100 mph) in order the AT to “program” itself?
This is very strange to me and want to ask you, whether is true or not?

Not true, in fact pretty crazy. I wish it were true, however, in that it would be a great explanation to the police. "Officer, I was only going 100 mph to program my transmission."
Drive normally in D and the transmission will, over about 500 to 1000 miles per my Vette tech, "learn" your driving habits and will program itself. It is called adaptive learning.
