Default GM Side Cove Screen Install Question (brief)

I've ordered the GM side cove screens and will be installing them myself. Do I need to remove the front wheels to gain access to the install location or can I just crank the wheels one way or the other?

Thanks in advance,

Lisa

I have installed them on my car. You don't need to remove the wheels, but you will need to crank them all the way to one side so that you can access the fender liner from the wheel well.

I am thinking of buying these myself, could you post pictures of the product when you get them?
Thanks.

It's a whole lot easier to do with the wheels removed.

I did this mod last month. It was much easier without the wheels and gave me time to clean the wheel/well and suspension. Becareful about using extra glue to stick this things on....it can get on the outside of the air duct. Don't ask me how I know.

Default Tire removal unnecessary but easier.

You don't [B]HAVE[Bto renove the wheels but it is easier.
If not removing wheels; remove snaps from fender liner then bend liner so the edge binds against the tire. When you turn the wheel it will pull the liner out enough to get your hand inside the fender. When done, turn the wheel or pull the liner back and re-fasten the snaps.

Good luck,

As the others have said, it can be done with the tires on but I think it is easier with the tires off. I left mine on and it was a pain on the first one as I couldn't see a thing and did everything by feel. The second one was easier as I already knew what to feel for. If I did it again I think it would also be faster to take off the tires. Here's a pic of the completed job - not a great pic, sorry. I do receive a ton of compliments on them though.
