Default Traction, how do I improve it?

I now have the horsepower, but no traction, very scary if i forget and push too hard. what mods have been done that help with traction. besides bigger and softer tires, which i figured out for myself. shocks, coilovers, sway bars ? anything and everything you have tried would be helpful.

Try relocating your battery to the trunk it definatly helped me and i'm only at 380 wheel. But I still have the stock run craps on. It only took a couple hours.

In order for us to provide help you need to explain your traction problem. If you are concerned with drag racing and straight line traction the suspension would be set up very different from someone who has traction problems on a road course.

Bigger tires not properly loaded will not increase traction

F=uN

where:
F = Frictional force (shear force between tire and street)
u = coefficient of friction
N = Normal force (weight on rear axle)

You want to increase "F". So you need to increase "u" and/or "N". To increase "u" you will require tires that grip the surface better.

-or-

As stated above, you can increase "N", without increasing vehicle mass, by relocating the battery to the rear cubby, like a Z06.

you can also try a drag racing alignment or road racing alignment depending on what your type of racing is.

Better suspension, rear wing, better tires, better traction control system

I am looking at the racelogic traction control system. I am at 580rwhp naturally aspirated, and think it may help me
