I was wanting to know if anyone else has pulled the exhaust fuse out so that the flap stays open in your muffler for the louder sound ? If so, have you had any problems and will it hurt anything if you leave it out for long periods of time ?
It could hurt your ears and talking to your date. Seriously, I took it out to try and then I bought a Sunset Orange NPP control. Cheap fun and you can have it both ways. I haven't noticed any damage to the electrical system yet. Of course I only have 1900 miles.

Yes people have done it, I would estimate thousands by now. No, it will not hurt anything. It is a dedicated fuse and only affects the exhaust module.
It could hurt your wallet. You can a ticket for having a too loud exhaust at idle, which is why it is controlled by the computer in the first place. One ticket, and you could have bought a Wild2Mild.
In any event, it's a 10A fuse labeled EXH MDL. I think it's in the fuse panel in the passenger footwell.
You will be fine with the flaps open 100% of the time. I have been selling wireless controls and working with the bimode exhaust for over 18months and have over 2000 units in use. No problems at all
