Default Throttle body porting - Need help with questions.

Wow! Just took my throttle body off, so I can send it Mike @ Straightline Performance and get it ported. I know machine porting will give me a few more ponies, but can you also get the inner surface polished?

I also got to thinking the throttle body sure would look nice if it was chromed or polished. Is anyone aware of a company that polished or chromes throttle bodies?

I was also amazed how there was a coating of oil on the inside of the air plenum intake. I will also be ordering an oil catch can from Mike.

I don't think you can have it machine ported or chromed because you can't easily remove the butterfly.

The throttle blade comes out easy enough... but doesn't go back together well at all. Don't take it apart or you learn what "reduced engine power" really means.

I'm not aware of any one offering chroming. I Painted my personal one black... But I like to paint everything black Painting is the easiest and easily undone later on if want a new look.
