Default X-pipe on 08 ?

I heard that the 08's have an X-pipe instead of the H-pipe after the cats. If this is true does anyone have pics from underneath ??

Do all 08's have it, or just the NPP equipped cars? I thought it was NPP only.

The X-pipe is only for the NPP exhausts. The non-NPP is an H-pipe.

Smart. I didnt either and picked up a 3" Z06 cat-back for a couple hundred $$'s. I now have 3" SS exhaust through out w/ Kooks LT's, X-pipe & a functional Z06 cat-back.

I don't have my coupe yet, so maybe someone without an NPP can take a pic so we can see the x-pipe.

Does the Borla x-pipe flow any better than the stocker? I bought the stingers and x-pipe as a package. The stocker sure looked like an x-pipe to me. I had standard exhaust.

All '08s have it. In fact, my 08 was built the first day of 08 production. When I picked it up at the museum, I went back in the back where they do the make-ready at the museum. They had two Corvettes up on the rack - one with and one without the NPP. They both had identical "X" pipes.

Texasranger took a pic for you. The one on the left looks like the one removed from my 08. Thanks Tex

This is correct. I had mine removed last week...non NPP and it had an X-pipe.

All 08's have them. Mine is a non-NPP car and when I pulled the exhaust off to put on my Kooks LT's, Kooks X, and B&B Rt. 66...I verified mine had an X-pipe stock. BTW, I have a completely stock 08 exhaust for sale if anyone wants one lol(mani's, cats, X pipe, and axles backs)
