What are your opinions of A&A Corvette in CA. I am moving there in May to Vandenberg AFB, 1.5 hours north of Oxnard. I am looking for a shop to do a cam swap and valvetrain upgrade for sure to my Maggie-charged Vette. Any other shop recommendations are welcome. I need a a no BS, professional shop.

I haven't had service from Andy, but I do have his supercharger kit. Its a kit designed by him, and if a shop can design and market their own kit, they have to be top notch in my book.
Besides, you can watch the Navy jets fly by as you wait for your car!

Andy and his crew built the engine in my 99 and I was very pleased with the finished product.I wouldn't hesitate to have him build up my 06 when and if I get bit by the Mod Bug.He has done many mods for a lot of Forum members and I can't remember anyone unhappy.Rod
You can trust Andy. He knows just about everything about C5 and C6 Corvettes plus his customer service is great. You can always call A&A and Andy will answer the phone 99% of the time. Andy will spend all the time you need in order to answer any questions you have.
See my signature for the mods Andy and A&A did to my 99 FRC about two years ago. No problems, dependable, he has always been there to answer my questions, and been available for upgrades. I've been totally satisfied with his work and service, and will go back to him this summer for an 8 rib set up.
Just call him up, no pressure and he will take care of your car very well.
Andy's done all my mods. My LS2 never had an issue. Top notch. When he did my stroked L92 everything was perfect except my pully bolt came loose. It happens. Most tunners would tell you get the car to the shop and they'll fix it. Not Andy, he sent a flat bed truck to my house 130 miles away picked up the car. Fixed it. made sure everything was right, and delivered it back to my house. How many tunners would do that? It's easy to say tunners are great when everything goes right. But it's when things go wrong that you fined out just what good service is. It's true that andy and I have become good friends over the years, but he would do the same for a first timmer. So I highly recommend him.

Now that is a very good statement. Especially since things can go wrong. Very well put.
I can't comment on his work but his customer service is excellent. I called him to ask him some questions on his SC kit and he took the time to answer every question, did not rush me (in fact he made me feel that he would stay on the phone all day, if necessary) and allowed me time to think while I was on the phone with him.
Andy is a professional that always places his customers needs first. He's proven that to me on many occasions. I wouldn't think twice about using A & A's services.
I drove 400 miles one way to drop off my 06 A6 to have A&A install one of their S/C kits. Andy spent alot of time and effort to get the tune just perfect and paid for my rental the extra days he had my vette. Very stand up and customer friendly.
I can't speak to Andy's service, but he has always been great to talk to...straight, no bull. And Charlie @RPM, my tuner, used to be Andy's tuner and engine builder. Charlie is also a straight talker and will make sure everything is OK. We had some issues initially with cam bolts failing, and Charlie picked up my car from my house and towed it back to his shop. Undoubtedly cost him serious bucks to make things right, but he did, with no comment and no griping.
Both guys are 100% professional and go way beyond what many tuners would do. Either one is closest to you.
I've heard nothing but good on both, and A&A has been around for years....and to continue to have that good of rep says alot! Both shops are on our West Coast referal list.
